Issei has mixed reactions after the Empress Shadow's effects lose their grip on his mind. A lot of them, particularly in regards to his mother Sola-Ui, are terror added to disgust.
When it comes to his brother Tatsuma... Issei feels oddly at peace. Maybe it's Tatusma's influence, stronger than the Shadow's, but Issei can't find it in himself to worry too much about what this will do to their relationship. Tatsuma has always been calm, loyal, and caring. He wouldn't let something like this get in the way of their friendship. He wouldn't even panic over it. Issei can only try to feel the same way.
It is with a wholehearted smile that Issei greets Tatsuma the next time they see each other, and that smile is returned in full.
