Title: Unfamilar Shadow

Summary: Alice's fathers look after her even when she's a Persona.
Notes: A result of the Persona meet-n-greet meme making me actually look up her scenes.
No Shadow before this has addressed Gilgamesh in words (none but his own double and that hardly counts), so when the skeleton inclines his head and says, "We would like to have a word with you, young man," Gilgamesh stays his sword hand.
The crowned and winged lizard standing next to him crosses his arms and waits for a reply. No other Shadows are in sight but these two.
"Speak," Gilgamesh answers.
"Our daughter Alice is quite taken with you, although you know her better as the angel V/V." The red demon speaks frankly. "Whatever form she's in, her welfare is the most important thing in the world to us."
"We've cared for her for a very long time," the black demon adds. "We would ask that you take good care of her when we cannot."
"Or you'll kill me, I suppose?" Gilgamesh asks with a sigh. He would have done so anyway, but he isn't ready to freely admit it, and being threatened into it is irritating.
"Threatening you with death would be an insult to the creativity of demons of our caliber - and she would be even more unhappy." The skeleton shakes his head. "It is merely a request for now."
...Good enough. "Very well. I'll see what I can do."
The two demons smile, and the lizard speaks. "Thank you, Gold King. We'll meet again at a different time."
As quietly as they had come, the Black Count and the Red Baron fade into the night. Gilgamesh watches for a moment before continuing on his way.
