That was the rule for Grim Angels. When they weren't on the mission, they were put to sleep. They had no time to be purely relaxed.
That was why... it was so strange, being here in Prospero. He wanted to serve the gods as best he could, but he had no explicit mission to follow. And even if he defeats the power holding them here, he has no way to return to his missions at home, for he has no life there anymore.
...For now, he has the ability to stop and breathe. Nothing rushes him. He can take a break without guilt.
It's so strange.
